Offering an escape from the ordinary, The Palms Tanning Resort will be showcased on CBS News affiliate Denver's Channel 4 KCNC Colorado Company live news segment
In only its 11 month of being in business, The Palms Tanning Resort has been chosen to be featured on network television for its innovative, unique and imaginative way of running a successful business.
Greenwood Village, CO January 25 2004--Entrepreneurs Keith and Holly Rodenberger are pleased that their salon, The Palms Tanning Resort - offering an escape from the ordinary - has garnered the attention of CBS affiliate, KCNC Channel 4.
Were proud that before the salon has even reached its first-year anniversary, its upscale and unique design has drawn the attention of network television, said Keith Rodenberger, co-owner of The Palms Tanning Resort.
The Palms Tanning Resort will be covered during the KCNC Channel 4 weekly Colorado Company segment aired throughout the 5am 7am newscast on Tuesday, January 27. This show airs live every Tuesday morning and highlights an innovative, upcoming and unique Colorado business.
Weve worked so hard over the last 11 months to make The Palms stand above all of the other tanning salons, to build The Palms to the highest degree of quality - different from any other tanning salon in the world, Holly Rodenberger explained.
We wanted to create a very unique and exciting atmosphere conceptually and physically that would make our customers want to come back time and again.
Without prior indoor tanning industry experience, Keith and Holly did extensive research to understand the many aspects involved in building their salon.
After visiting numerous tanning businesses across the country, they realized that what they envisioned had never been built before; it was a truly revolutionary concept for the indoor tanning industry.
After walking by the nine-foot waterfall and through the sandstone rock cave entrance, guests have a choice of going to distinct tanning bungalow villages along the left and right hand sides of the resort. There are bamboo tanning huts along one side and stuccoed tanning abodes on the other giving a distinct island feel to visitors.
From the custom granite-top reception desk, to the 12-foot theater wall, white sand beach and rock flooring, to the bamboo flown in from the Philippines, The Palms Tanning Resort incorporates truly custom ideas and concepts in the development of the island resort getaway.
Customers drive in to visit The Palms from all over Colorado, including Breckenridge, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs, as well as the Denver Metro Area. "With over 100 tanning salons in the Denver metro area, our customers could easily go to another salon closer to home or work, but they tell us time and time again that we are worth the extra miles," Keith explains.
Keith and Holly have won numerous national awards and accolades, with recognition for innovative salon concepts; superior customer service and satisfaction; outstanding branding incorporated throughout their marketing/promotional materials; and recognition for the salons unique dr and stylish image. Locally, they have also received exciting rave reviews for their tremendous success, which has helped to put The Palms on the map in Denver.
In addition, Holly has also used her many years of corporate skills to help launch the franchise process for The Palms. The Palms is one of the youngest tanning salons ever to offer franchises and thus far, the response from potential investors has been overwhelming, states Holly.
Weve created a signature salon that gives our customers the chance to escape the ordinary, says Keith. They leave refreshed and renewed, ready to take on the rest of their day.
